A look inside the sculptural floral styling we created for Moustache Republic’s Unified Commerce Assembly 2026, featuring an unexpected combination of anthuriums, orchids, spider gerberas, limes and cascading red radishes.

For Unified Commerce Assembly 2026, hosted by Moustache Republic in partnership with NZ Post, we created two contemporary floral arrangements designed to bring colour, texture and a little of the unexpected into the event space.

With a programme focused on the future of commerce, the flowers needed to feel equally forward-looking. Rather than traditional corporate florals, we developed a playful, sculptural concept using fresh flowers alongside fruit and vegetables. The result was bold and memorable, while remaining clean enough to complement the event’s vibrant visual identity.

The Lime Cube: A Playful Welcome

The first arrangement greeted attendees beside the event board at the entrance.

Built around a playful lime cube, the compact entrance arrangement featured white spider gerberas and deep burgundy anthuriums. The glossy citrus, fine-petalled flowers and architectural anthuriums created a lively contrast of shapes and textures.

Halved limes revealed flashes of their pale interiors, adding another layer of detail and reinforcing the arrangement’s fresh, graphic quality. Displayed on a clear acrylic plinth, the mechanics seemed to disappear, allowing the flowers and fruit to become the focus.

Although this was the smaller of the two pieces, its position made it an important part of the guest experience. It introduced the floral concept as attendees arrived and brought an immediate sense of energy to the entrance.

A statement installation beside the stage

The larger arrangement was positioned beside the stage, where it needed enough height and presence to hold its own within a busy conference setting.

We carried elements of the entrance design into this piece, repeating the white spider gerberas and rich burgundy tones. Large green anthuriums created a strong vertical rhythm, while burgundy cymbidium orchids added depth and refinement.

The most unexpected element was a cascade of vivid red radishes. Draping from the arrangement in generous strands, they introduced movement, weight and a playful point of difference. Their saturated colour connected beautifully with the burgundy orchids, while the rounded forms contrasted with the sharp petals of the gerberas and the broad, glossy anthuriums.

Set on another transparent plinth, the installation appeared to float beside the stage. Its asymmetrical silhouette framed the speakers without overwhelming them and remained visible from across the room, becoming part of the backdrop throughout panel discussions and presentations.

One idea, expressed at two scales

While the two arrangements served different purposes, they shared one cohesive visual language: acid green, crisp white and deep berry tones; sculptural flowers; fresh produce; and transparent display structures.

The entrance piece offered a concentrated introduction to the concept, while the stage installation amplified it through scale, repetition and movement. Together, they helped create a consistent journey through the venue—from the first welcome to the main programme.

Corporate flowers do not have to be formal or predictable. They can reflect a brand’s personality, respond to its visual identity and become a memorable part of how guests experience an event.

It was a pleasure to create these floral moments for Moustache Republic’s Unified Commerce Assembly 2026 and to see them come to life among a room full of ideas, conversations and connections.
